We're working to make this site easy to use for everyone — with or without a mouse, with a screen reader, on a small screen, or with reduced-motion preferences.

Our goal

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the recognized standard for web accessibility.

What's already in place

Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, Escape)
A "Skip to content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users
Clear marking of the current page in the menu (aria-current="page")
Respects your system's 'reduce motion' setting
Correct language labels for screen readers
Plain language — no unnecessary legal jargon
Color contrast chosen for comfortable reading
Alt text on images that carry information
Works offline as an installable app (PWA)

What we're still improving

Contrast audits on newer pages
Clearer screen-reader paths on longer pages
More Spanish content reviewed by native speakers

Found something that doesn't work

Tell a trusted adult or your caseworker. If you know someone connected to FosterHub AZ, ask them to pass the issue along — that's how we fix it.
